About SarafaRate

SarafaRate shows the daily gold and silver rate in Pakistan in a fast, simple format. Every day we publish the bullion rate announced by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems & Jewellers Association, and convert it into the units people actually use: tola, masha, gram, 10 gram and kilogram, for 24K, 22K, 21K and 18K gold.

We also build free tools for buyers and sellers of gold, including a tola converter, a gold price calculator with making charges, and a zakat calculator.

How we get our rates

Rates are collected each day from the association’s announcement as reported by several Pakistani news outlets. Our system checks that the sources agree and that the rate is in line with the international gold price before publishing. If the sources disagree, we keep showing the last confirmed rate with its date.

SarafaRate is not a jeweller and does not buy or sell gold.
